Product Concept Designer (Laguna City) - Binan

JOB DESCRIPTION/ JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Under general supervision, shall be responsible in conceptualizing exciting, practical and commercially viable design concepts for the company’s product lines and to improve the way existing products work and look and produce them at a lower cost.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Discusses designs with sales and marketing, business development and product development engineering to ensure that it will be marketable and feasible.
2. Researches similar products and develops ideas.
3. Generates sketches of ideas and developing the most effective ideas into detailed drawings within deadline.
4. Generates detailed part designs and product documentation.
5. Generates reports and presents ideas to superior, colleagues and clients at various stages of the design process within deadlines set.
6. Modifies ideas according to the feedback received.
7. Oversees the testing of the chosen design.
8. Makes presentations to potential clients in order to win new contracts.
9. Performs other related work that may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
BS Industrial Design graduate or equiavalent with at least 2 years working experience in appliance product design
Excellent AUTOCAD, PHOTOSHOP, SOLIDWORKS SKILLS
Creative, has an eye for shape and colour and superb attention to details.
Good in planning and organizing to meet deadlines.
Good in costing and budgeting
